There is nothing wrong about both systems. Every goals happen from mistake, human's error. You just have to attack the ball like some good defenders. :celebrate:
 
We've got WHU next up. Played 4 lost 4.

They've scored 2 and conceded 10. If they score from a set piece, I think this thread might have some life left in it.
 

It's not working at the moment, but with VAR likely in the PL next season, its worth persisting with.

Let's be ahead of the curve for once. Hopefuly zonal is being deployed in the youth set-up and is a requirment of any new coach that Marcel selects (when that time eventually comes).

Just get Tosun off front post duties.


I fail to see how the implementation of VAR would have made a blind bit of difference to any of the goals we have conceeded from corners in these early games of the new season.

If VAR was being used they would still all have been “marking” the empty space in their own designated “zone” and an unmarked man would still have been on hand to apply the coup de grace.
 
I find this whole zonal concept hilarious. Pep uses zonal marking. One of its biggest proponents. Klopp the same. It has NOTHING to do with Zonal marking.
