If it's true that we're letting him go to Cardiff on loan then that's a terrible decision imo. We don't have many options upfront right now so it makes zero sense to let one go on loan. Niasse right be comically poor at times but he's still an option that we're throwing away for very little gain. I could of understood it if we were getting a good cash offer but I fail to see any benefit in a loan deal. Cardiff will still more then likely get relegated and he'll no doubt be back here next season for the final year of his contract.

he's 4th choice and we only play one up front. i know we don't have many options, we haven't all season and he's still never been on the bench except during the christmas schedule.

I still see noting to be gained by letting him go out on loan. Sure he's fourth choice right now but a couple of injuries to our already terrible attacking opinions and he'll be needed. If somebody wanted to buy him I'd be all for it. I just don't see the point in loaning him to Cardiff when it's pretty much a guarantee that they'll go down, he'll be back here next season and we'll be in the same position with him again. I'd sooner have him here as a fourth or even fifth choice back-up option then playing for somebody else who'll never buy him.

Hello again, optimism still high at the club?

I have no idea what to expect from niasse as a Cardiff fan. Is he good enough for a relegation battle?
said on here after we played cardiff .you should go in for him , loads of effort never gives up and whatever his faults he scores goals, could be the difference in staying up decent deal for you.

Sorry, he is rubbish mostly.

And I’m not talking about faux-rubbish.

He’s genuinely garbage.

Bit harsh. He has qualities in that he is a 'ratter' who will chase everything down and he has good upper body strength and can bully the odd defender into mistakes. He's also a pretty lucky striker in that he seems to get the bounce of the ball drop his way more often than not.

But... yes, he is a terrible, terrible actual footballer. But given I thought he was a genuine hoax of a player akin to Ali Dia when we signed him, he hasn't been bad to that degree.
