Im thinking we wanted to hold on, see if anybody wanted to buy, we waited 2 weeks and "technically" hes holding up our incoming transfers, so I assume nobody is willing to pay cash money.

Sure we could have waited another 2 weeks, in the hope that somebody lashed money at us, but thats the gamble.

Also add to that the fact that Warnock has been brutally honest about Cardiff’s chances of staying up since day one.

Even going as far as to say that they went up a season too early and they weren’t ready.

So he’s hardly likely to spunk a load of money on players in the January window, when his whole philosophy has been based on the fact that more than likely they were always going down.

His first three touches that game two of them went out of play and his third one he fouled a brighton player as he lost control of a simple pass

I am aware of all this. Yet my point still stands, he was the only one who looked like scoring all game (due to him being the only one to get a shot on target.)

Yet again, ability or effectiveness?

The most talented players are not always the best ones.

I have backed Niasse from the start, and I think most people are aware of that, I don't think many understand why I have backed him though.

I don't think he is a great player or anything, in an ideal world we would never have signed him as I don't think he is good enough.

Where I draw the line though and to the point where it really boils my pee, is people saying he is the worst player ever or he is a competition winner etc. Those that say he is zero ability. Well what defines ability?

Is his touch great? No not really. Is his passing good? Nah. Does he do some awful things? Of course he does.

But is scoring goals not an ability? How about putting pressure on opponents to the point they make a mistake? Good movement? He does have that. He has a bit of pace, he is pretty strong and he can hit a ball.

Someone mentioned he was a fun player before, that's spot on for me, the fun has gone out of football. People cant wait to just jump on the bad sides of his game yet ignore his good sides, He has scored goals everywhere he has been, that is not by accident and he uses what he can do effectively.

So yeah, not a good player, fine with that, worst ever seen though. No, not even close.

Hello again, optimism still high at the club?

I have no idea what to expect from niasse as a Cardiff fan. Is he good enough for a relegation battle?
