I can't fault Niasse for his efforts while he's been here. He's utter pony at football but if they gave out medals based on effort alone he'd be right up there with the best. It's just a shame about his lack of actual ability.......

Name me a few?

Brett Angel
Paul Holmes
Claus Thomsen
Mark Hughes
Per Kroldrup
John Spencer
Mitch Ward

That's before getting into the one or two game players for us like Peter Degn, Glenn Keely etc. Honestly I could probably get into 3 figures if I was inclined to do so.

He scored some important goals for us last season. I would put him in the Joe Max Moore category, obviously not great but has a run where he did well therefore I cant call him one of our worst ever players as we have had players who basically did nothing for us (or in some cases worse than nothing). I don't care about "ability" or whatever, I care about effectiveness and Oumar showed he could be that.

Surely itd be better to spend that cash on niasse? Get the other fella on loan with a view to paying more if they stay up?

If he is only loaned out at least we can look forward to seeing him back next season together with Mirallas,Sandro,Pennington, Williams, Besic,Bolasie Garbutt, Vlasic,Tarashji and Dowell

Aren’t Mirallas and Williams out of contract in the summer?

Im thinking we wanted to hold on, see if anybody wanted to buy, we waited 2 weeks and "technically" hes holding up our incoming transfers, so I assume nobody is willing to pay cash money.

Sure we could have waited another 2 weeks, in the hope that somebody lashed money at us, but thats the gamble.

hmm, could be that tbf. I just don't see us in for a striker
