I don't remember a team creating this many chances against City at the Etihad.
Richarlison had two, Walcott had one, another for DCL. Same against the RS with Gomes and Mina.
Need to start taking our chances but I can see bundles of progress.
...Allardyce’s Everton had 27 points on Boxing Day last season, we are sitting on 24.
Saying that, I think we have progressed. I seem to recall Silva’s teams being a bit streaky in the past, having winning runs and losing runs.

Exactly this.
Don't forget some good chances at Chelsea too, also Bernard at OT.
Oh and we need strikers.
The bedwetters will still wet, it's what they do best.
I think you have to keep in mind these chances were created when there were two goals in the game. Thought we did okay overall. Having three centre halves who aren´t very comfortable on the ball didn´t do us any favours.

Means absolutely nothing that.
We're trying to do something completely different with still some of the same gutless no marks and people continuing to harp on about Allardyce doesn't help.
Why not compare at February or April or May. Why boxing day? No context whatsoever.
Richarlison's first at 0-0... should have absolutely buried that. That's 17 goals agains the 'big 6' without a goal for him. Desperately crying out for a fearless striker.
