I think people saying he isnt good enough are over reacting however those acting like we have improved this season are being deluded.
Fact is we have good players playing in a system that requires very good players.
Playing open football like we do requires 3 attacking players who can score goals - Bernard and Walcott offer no goals and Richarlison is a winger playing as a striker.
Our lack of goals from anyone outside of Richarlison is embarassing as is our right hand side who are both average.
Fact is clubs like West Ham, Wolves, Bournemouth and Leicester are all keeping up with us as they can defend just as well as us but have actual scorers in their sides - Wilson, Vardy, Arnautovic, Jimenez
We massively need to sign a top class striker in Janaury there can be simply no excuses for another £25-30 million punt on someone like Tosun from a bum league.
We also desperately need an upgrade on either Walcott or Coleman in Janaury as the pair stink the gaff out together.
End of the day its not all Silva's fault and we need to strengthen in January however he isnt blameless when dinosaurs like Alladyce could probably have us on a similiar points tally.

I think it’s results based in the end. Fat Sam was sacked for being 8th. I am not blaming Silva for losing to RS and Citch but at home, we got to do better and winning games, now.

Playing 5 at the back against city. Obviously wanted to stay in the game with 20 mins to go. That backfired early on.
You cant play 5 at the back when you want to play out from the back against teams like this lot.
I like a manager who wants to play a certain way but without the players to do so, there is no point.
