Even though I’m not great at it yet, and it looks absolutely horrifically bad on PS4 I quite enjoy battle royal type games so gonna stick with this one and get better if I can.

Is it really as equal as they make out or will there be people paying for decent gear to get a leg up on me? That will really put me off if so.

I don’t THINK pre-game gear matters apart from cosmetics and such, so you should be good mate. And next to no hackers on PS4. PC is a nightmare at times but console is the way to go despite how crappy it looks!

What are the best racing games for the PS4? Not really that bothered about online as much. Used to love the Forza games on the 360 so would like something similar.

Having said that GT sport is quite cheap so may pick that up after Christmas, but would like an offline game.



Will defo get pubg so if there is a few on here who would like to squad up I'd be game for that.

GT Sport is great and you can do some offline stuff on it now.
Project Cars 1 and 2 are great but really hard.
Both The Crews are awful.
Need for Speed I like but it’s very limited.
Need for Speed Payback I got very bored of.
Burnout Paradise Remastered is fantastic.
Assetto Corsa is supposed to be good but not played it.
Dirt Rally is the hardest racing game I’ve ever played.
Dirt 4 is ok.
The WipeOut remaster is good too.

Think they’re the only ones I know of.

Basically xbone has the upper hand here. I’m so jealous of Forza Horizon. Looks amazing.

I played some of the original paradise game and loved it so will defo get that.

The offline campaign in GT sport is of a decent standard now. Think there must be 200 odd races to take part in and they keep adding to it once a month.

It will take some time to download it all though if you buy the disk...

Can you play an online game whilst downloading another? The only experience of this I have is on the 360 where the download stops if you're playing an online game

You can yes but the download speed of the game will be slowed down quite a bit. it even slows down if you're playing an offline game.

Missus is getting me it for Crimbo and we’ll be doing the presents stuff Christmas Eve.

Planning on putting it straight in when I get in ready to blast all Christmas. Be ready by the morning do you reckon?

Think the install took about 90 mins on the PS4. But then you will need to download the updates but they should easily download over the course of a night, even if you don't have particularly good internet.

Only took about and hour and a bit. Longest PS4 one ever like but you’ll be fine.

Try not to land near everyone if you can get away with it. Gear really is everything in PUBG, and if you have a whole power plant to yourself, chances are you’ll find everything you need.

After you get geared, find a car and head straight to the middle of the circle. Try to avoid snipers as you stand almost no chance if they are decent and see you first

After that, play the edge game and stay on the edge of the circle once it closes up the first time (or after you make it to the middle the first time)

Honestly Ijj, it requires a bit of luck with the circle. Sometimes it completely screws you over and spawns in a horrible spot. Good luck mate

I'm gonna pick it up at some point. I played it on the Xbox and really liked it. The problem is there's people out there who somehow have about 16 hours a day to play these games and they batter everyone.

Just completed RDR2 and WOW! Possibly the best game I've ever played, maybe slightly tops The Last of Us.

That scene at the end with Arthur riding the horse back into camp with the music montage - christ alrighty chat about emotion.
