Warburton received a phone call from a friend on the Friday evening before a game, to tell him he had just heard on SSN that Warburton had resigned. Which was news to him.

One minute he had a job, the next scone.

it was really weird with him, he made some good young signings avoiding doing what mcoist etc had done by getting past it players and trying to build something and blitzed the championship. then it all sort of fell apart watching senderos look like he was running in quicksand in the premiership.

Recruitment in the top flight seemed all over the show and I think the players seemed to stop buying into it. I also think like other managers at other clubs he lacked a plan b

I must admit i did think Barton would be a success, Kranjear (no idea if thats right) and senderos were bad signings though

Said it all season: Gerrard isn't interested in the SPL. He's interested in Gerrard. That means he wants to increase his profile via the EL. He's got Rapid Vienna in mind on Thursday night, not Dundee on a drizzly Sunday.

The fact that Rangers fans dont see it is laughable.

Why didn't he even acknowledge his own fans when he scored?

You can see why they’re after dowell , seem to have a few players who do the same role . I know Kent has only just returned from injury as well , Morelos gets stick which he probably deserves but without him they look toothless

Would be a massive mistake by Dowell or Everton to get mixed with Rangers,their football today was utterly dreadful.
