That's not what I asked, you mentioned Wilder throwing 100more but landing 13 less...that to me is aimless windmilling, like when a keeper dives full length for a shot going wide, purely for the cameras

But some judges score through activity especially mexicans. If somebody throws 100 more punches some judges will think he has won.

Tyson fury landed 13 more punches.... Yes only 13! He threw 100 less and was decked twice!

Robbery my arse. People look at wilder and think he's crap but can bang and miss most of his work
As a boxer though he is crap. He misses so many times with wild punches. He has a hell of a punch and that's why is always still in a fight. He is not a good boxer though.

If you throw a hundred more punches and land less than your opponent then the work rate argument should go out the window. That's crap boxing.

I don't agree with it. But historically us and Mexican judges have always favoured it.

Maybe we will finally stop hearing about how fury schooled Klitschko after he has schooled wilder by landing 13 more punches and getting decked twice

Just watched the last round knockdown again. The ref doesn't start counting for 2 secs and fury is up at 9!
Mate stop embarrassing yourself. There is clear deep hatred for Fury inside of you.

Also I don't even like him that much be he won that fight clearly to me.

Then they shouldn't be judging...volume should only be scored if it's accurate, you don't have to hurt them as long as it's a clean hit

The argument for punches landed isn't always a good one to look at as well. I bet any money most of the punches Wilder landed came in the few rounds he won. So for that stat to be a true reflection if it wasn't a robbery then you would need to see round by round.

Draw denies Fury world title

It's easy to get wrapped up in the controversy but let's give Fury his due on that performance after everything he's been through.

He was absolutely remarkable for a good 90% of the time there. Not quite like he'd never been away but very close to that man who schooled Klitschko.

In the end (bent judges aside) I think it was probably the slightest bit of rust that cost him the win, but many didn't give Fury much of a realistic chance, so for him to get so close was amazing.

Of course we all want to see the dream outcome, but I'm confident he can do it in a few months time when he's in better shape, further down the line in his recovery, studied the first fight and maybe in front of a home crowd.

How Wilder reacts to this will be interesting. I believe Wilder viewed Fury as a busted flush who'd be a nice name to get on his record, so the fact he couldn't take him out - despite landing his bombs, could shake him mentally.

Home town decisions have always been an issue, if Fury gets the rematch he'll more than likely win even more conclusively.

Its always been a major problem but finance is often at the bottom of it and rather than award it to Fury they possibly like the idea of a lucrative rematch better, tbf hats off to the boxing journalists (and bookmakers who all gave Fury a realistic chance), none of whom I read dismissed Fury's chances at all even if they tipped Wilder.

My paper's correspondent had Fury by four rounds, but said he was well up

Far too much boxing ability for the other two big heavyweights around and will be even more formidable further into his comeback

You could see if a scorer gave the close rounds all to Wilder and with the knockdowns how it could just be close, but for Rochin to score it four points to Wilder is way out, just blatantly corrupt.

The rematch is perhaps not so certain as people now generally expect, Wilder may well look at chasing a Joshua fight as far more preferable to risking a rematch with an even better prepared Tyson Fury who now perhaps looks the one to avoid if at all possible.

I don't believe wilder will look elsewhere. He knows he can deck fury at any point.

I actually think fury will avoid now and chase joshua

Disagree on Fury avoiding him, to me he has far more boxing ability and will be far better prepared too.

I do think Wilder may chase AJ as a far more preferable choice though as I think it would be a far greater risk to give Fury a rematch later in his comeback and after this.
