Preki... The indoor footballer from the states and Mike Milligan come to mind.
Did Alan Mcnally the sky sports commentator get a game with us back in the early nineties of was it just a trial that yielded nothing?

Sander Westerveld, Alec Cleland and that ignorant oddball Stephen Hughes

I'll always remember Stephen Hughes for that peach of a free kick he scored at Watford to keep us in the FA Cup with time running out. Us that was there went mental.

Can't recall much else of what he did here though.

May have been mentioned already - can't be arsed trawling all the thread - but Martin Murray. Was supposed to be the great new Irish hope in the mid-late 70's but can't even recall him actually playing.

Sorry, not quite sure how this works.

You said John Barton on page 3, and I said Peter Scott on page 4.

Do you just wait a while and repeat stuff as if you've only just thought of it?

..I forget who i’ve said to be honest but I am very old. Apologies for repeating Peter Scott but in this type of thread repetition is inevitable as folk can’t be expected to read beyond the last few posts.
