I’m still convinced that he sauntered onto the pitch on his first day at Finch Farm thinking “I know they’re not Barcelona but they’re in the Premier League so they can’t be that ba-oh dear god what have I done”. Then went home and shot his agent.
 

bernard was on for about 5 minutes lad. Let's give it a bit longer to judge that one.


It's not the first time though. In the games they have played together their looks to be a solid partnership like the days of Pienaar and Baines. Their movement and understanding of each other is something I haven't seen on the left in years.
 

Imagine having to have Judas Baines back.

Without all the weird stuff about Baines and Jags and whatever it is you dreamed up it was clear to see that they needed replacing. Thankfully this lad has more than just the ability to cover ground better than Baines.
 
We went from a decade of Baines(PLs best LB up till last season) to Digne, which seems in the same mould, only quicker with his passing, and even more attacking. If his form continues, I might develop a mancrush on this guy.
