I didn't have a clue how we were going to replace Baines' quality from that left wing. Full marks to Brands on this one. We'll probably never have a crosser of a ball like Baines again in that position, but Digne's about as good as we could have hoped for in a replacement and is quicker too. Really important signing.

I've bneen very impressed with his delivery since he's been here. Confident enough to challenge Gylfi on set pieces, says a lot about his character and confidence as well as his ability. I really don't mind buying Barca cast offs they still tend to be better than average.

I’m sure he’s not the best in the league ,but, I can’t think of any I would swap him with tbh. I’m very happy with him, he’s like a young , blond baines with more pace and a sexier name. For 17m he looks like a great price of business
