Richarlison starting at CF

He has space to cut in when he's on the left.

Him being in that role is also key to how Silva wants to play, by the looks of it.

We all want Bernard to be in at some point, but we have time.

Personally, against Fulham, I'd play Tosun.

They'll look to come out and play and there will be chances.

I'd have Richarlison - Tosun - and then one of Bernard/Walcott.

I'd probably start Bernard and see what he can do. Have Walcott to bring on.

Gylfi - Gana - Davies in midfield.
 

Don't think Walcott on the wing is a good idea, he doesn't defend.
And you can have best of both worlds for Rico (wide and centre)
if you play them as a front two.
4-4-2 or 4-3-1-2
Why do we need to play three up front
esp when we need to sort out the defence first.
The goals will start coming one way or another
esp once Bernard gets more time and match fit.
 
Cenk lacks quality, but look at Richarlison's goal at Wolves. That play needs to be drilled more, Cenk is not good but he can be used as a 'wall' for Richarlison and its not a play that easily defendable.

We aren’t playing 3 up front. We are playing 4-2-3-1. The wings/inside forwards defend plenty, especially Richarlison.

He has to play. I know DCL has more pace, I know he’s a big difference defending set pieces, but Cenk can still score and create.
 

his poor form for watford coincided with him being played upfront, he made less chances etc.

if hes good at coming in from the wing leave him there better to have one player happy in the right position than shoehorned into another and made less effective

Lookman hasnt looked interested off the bench, maybe see what hes like starting v southampton but evidence so far is his heads been turned

offer RBL 20 mill and lookman for werner in january :cool:
