Computer games.

Spiderman - It's just like Batman Arkham, and New York looks superb. The physics of it is well done, you can't swing on a web if there's no buildings / trees around you. Be good if they expand it to the rest of the Avengers.

Well, yeah, my view is he quoted two excellent examples of the SRPG genre.

As an aside, @Rook if you have a DS pick up Fire Emblem: Awakening. Wonderful game.

FE: Awakening is great. However my favorite FE is Echoes. There is no rock, paper scissors battle system so you really don't have to worry about your pegasus knight getting one shotted. The turnwheel is a good balance between the permadeath (too annoying) and the nobody dies mechanic (way too easy).

Trying to finish up Xenoblade chronicles 2 before the DLC comes out next week which is less DLC and more whole new freaking game because Takahashi is awesome.

After that I'll probably play Horizon, or maybe Life is strange (I played the prequel and it was damn good).

Speaking of story driven games, if those are your thing go play Night in the Woods. I play quite a few of them and while most are good to very good they aren't even close to NiTW. There are just too many great lines in that game to count, and it really captures captures all the good and bad of rust belt small town Western Pennsylvania. Plus arguably best character designs I ever saw in a western game.

Spider-man

Does absolutely nothing new.

But does everything brilliantly. I really wasn’t sure at first as I’m crap at the combat but you get better and better at it the more you scrap.

At its core it’s a normal open world game. But it’s absolute quality of everything stands out and puts it streets ahead of nearly everything.

Buy it.

Just completed the campaigne on COD WW2.really enjoyed it very much.
I have tried the multiplayer and am cannon fodder for everyone alas.

My girlfriend played through the campaign and said it ended weird or abruptly can't remember what happened, she expected it to be better anyway. I just play team deathmatch myself, i am awful at it tbh.. its quite fun when your in a group that are just as bad as i am, if not it's spawn and die straight away against pros

Yes now i think about it,it was a bit of a weird ending.Sounds like we are both equally rubbish at team deathmatch.

Not a big fan of the FIFA games as they don't feel very accurate to me but my young cousin was round the other night so I stuck FIFA18 on to keep him entertained and he was playing through a World Cup in FUT mode.

He won a pack and when it opened it was full of top players - Ronaldo, Messi, Hazard, Marcelo, Aguero and so on and so forth - all 97-99 rated players. Is this just EA killing off FUT on FIFA18 in time for the release of 19 as I went online for a quick game to check other sides and my opponent also had an unusual number of megastars

Looks... interesting.

What is it with AAA games not being able to release in a finished state? Feels like every single game is broken and rushed out.

Testing at company site and delaying release costs money. Just release it and hundreds of thousands of players will test the game for you.

Number one reason why I don't buy or play open world games at release. Just wait for a week and most of the bugs will be ironed out.
