2018/19 Seamus Coleman

Thought that he was Ireland's best player tonight as it goes (not difficult like). His crossing was decent and he tried to keep possession as best he could unlike some of his team mates. Hopefully his ropey start to the season is over.

His form worries me a bit. Silva has said whoever performs gets the shirt. It's only right that Kenny gets a go.

Seamus is still, for me, our best RB - especially when we play teams who come onto us and he has space in behind them to exploit (a game like today never suited him) - but fair's fair. Let Kenny have a shot and see how he goes. It's healthy for people not playing well to step out for a game or two.
Fair comment Dave.

Love Seamus me though.

How Silva handles Seamus will be very telling of his management abilities. He surely knows Seamus is a fan favourite who is very passionate on the pitch and I'd imagine well respected by other players but if he needs to be dropped to the bench, then Silva must follow through with it and do it in a way which can be beneficial.

No thanks he should have gone 18months ago.

He's every ready mate, just say the word...
