realistically thinking 7th or 8th. hoping for Europe and just maybe a Cup.

I see anywhere between 3-8. 3 to 5th would require pretty much all of our signings panning out and some of Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs and United to falter. We clearly have enough talent to be pushing for the 7-6 spot tho.

at least one or all 3 of United, spurs and arsenal could drop out of the top 6 this season, well be above burnley too

Depends a lot on our away form improving markedly.
On the evidence so far we still feel any draw away from Goodison is a decent result, and that is just not going to cut it

Burnley will do very well to finish top half, I think the Europa will crucify them if they get to the league stage. We shouldn't finish lower than 7th, momentum is everything, make the most of the favourable fixture list and we could be in for a good season.

problems not breaking into it really its staying there, look at Leicester a few years ago

If we can beat Bournemouth then I’d be confident about a decent season. If this lot go for their usual Everton away game (100 different ways how not to win an away game) then it might just be another season like under Moyes of nearly but not quite. We need a win we don’t deserve to get rid of the feeling we threw away 2 points v Wolves.

Two games in and the thread about us being worse than last year and in danger of relegation has been replaced by this one going giddy with some suggesting we’ll be top six. I’m still sticking to 7th or 8th but with decent cup run and more entertaining football.
