Transfer Rumour Badou N'Diaye

Yarmolenko's done sod all for 3 years. Was a massive failure at Dortmund. A big gamble by West Ham.

Moutinho used to be a very good player but his price reflects his current value. Not a gamble by Wolves but will be on big wages and will be difficult to move on if he doesn't work out for them.

Max Meyer. What can I say. Massive gamble by Palace for a young player who's got worse, not better, as he's got older. There's a reason why none of the big German clubs, or indeed any of the big clubs full stop, have been in for him. There was also a reason he chose Palace.

I would rather have Richarlison and Digne over the 3 players you mentioned. In fact I'd have Richarlison and Digne over any of the players those 3 clubs have brought in this summer.

I would rather a former top player getting on (Moutinho) like Barry for us was than a steady eddie pointless signing.

I would also rather a marverick risk who might fail but also might show moments of brilliance (Mayer, Yarmolenko) than again steady eddie 6/10 crab performances that our midfield is currently full of.

Transfer fee's mean little in todays inflated market what stands out is the wages - the top clubs pay and attract the best players by paying the higher wages.

Clubs like West Ham, Wolves and Palace (170k a week to Meyer) are attracting higher calibre of players because they are pursuing a higher finish whereas we are on a major cost cutting exercise.

I can accept shifting the crap like Sandro and Klaassan off the wage bill - but I want us competing with the top sides offering the higher wages.

We are doing the opposite, sell players on big wages say 100k a week, sign someone for 70k a week and have 30k saved - yes its good business but you dont attract your Yarmolenko's, Meyer's or Moutinho's of the world with those wages.

Thats why imo we have targeted players like N'Diaye because said player will be happy on the wages that are now offered at the club. We will still sign the odd decent player but no chance of us pulling off a coup signing that we all dream of in the near future.
We have players on mad wages now and we want them gone. WH are doing what we failed at last year . Not sure you get it tbh pal!!

Nothing wrong with fears of being overtaken, I guarantee the same Rawkite type posters who call people bed wetters did the same when Martinez was signing garbage like Robles and Alcaraz and Walsh with Keane and Williams.

Some people have this weird fascination with needing to show complete undevoted positivity to the club 24/7 on social media platforms and cant handle that some fans dare question the policy and direction the current custodians of OUR football club are taking.

On the flip side some people have a weird fascination in needing to be persistently banging a negative drum about what the club do or don't do, especially with any smidgen of rumours, so hard that it's become non functional.

He's got some competition to be fair. This years had some whoppers.:) He hasn't been banned yet which gives him an advantage I suppose.

Why am I a whopper or deserve banning because I dont think N'Diaye is a good signing?

Seriously get a grip lad its a DISCUSSION FORUM. not every 1.2 million or however many Evertonians there are on the planet will agree with your or whoever's opinion or evaulation on all, most, some or any things Everton.

Maybe if this post was stuck around it would cause much less girly bitchness, name calling and arguments on this forum.

You had to retire your old account because it was that ridiculous. New one coming right up, yeh?

Oatcake forum has some mixed feelings on him

"im with you on that, Badou was totally bossed in midfield by James McArthur...... hardly David Silva
I wouldn’t want to lose Badou but I honestly think that he isn’t that fantastic"
"
He's not set the world on fire here, has he?"

"I can't say I'd be that arsed if there was any truth in it. He played OK I thought on Sunday but he hasn't got a great range of passing, he can't shoot and his decision making is pretty awful.
Still he runs about a bit and occasionally breaks up play and that's seemingly your £15 frigging Million these days."

So in a nutshell, he`s Nyarko Mk 2.

No thanks.

Nah you might take the internet that serious bud but I don. Your gang of buddies on here aint real so dont waste your life trying to impress people that dont matter.

So what your saying is we should keep hold of the likes of Bolasie and Mirallas, and should have kept hold of the likes of McGeady and Deulefeu.

I agree we have too many crabs in midfield by the way. I don't think too many would disagree there.

West Ham better hope Diop is the answer. They still have a lot of injured players to deal with and spent a lot of money on guys that definitely have some questions about them. It just seems SO similar to our situation last year. Other than Diop, they signed a Lanzini replacement, at least for the first couple months, lost Mario Joao - who was really good for them honestly, and a bunch of wingers, so they have depth or slight upgrades over Arnautovic and Antonio.

West Ham gave up 68 goals last year. They got in Diop (and Reid is hurt), lost Collins, Sam Byram is hurt, got in some unknown CB from Paraguay, Reece Oxford back from Loan, and Ryan Fredericks on a free.

They did move Kouyate, who was terrible, so that was a good move IMO.

So I guess they will score more goals, but unless Diop is amazing and/or they find an outside back on the other side sometime soon, not sure how they are going to improve on that 68 goals. Again 68 friggin goals! That's 10 more than we conceded. Think about that.

Palace...I mean, I don't get it. Meyer is okay, but he's unmovable at that wage and well, Benteke looks toast and I'm not sure Zaha can improve on what he did last year. I don't rate RLC, but he's not there anymore, and well, Kouyate...

I'm not sure what to make of Wolves. It's basically a Portuguese B team. I certainly am not as hyped up about them as others, but we shall see.

No because not one player you have named can holda candle to Yarmolenko, Moutinho or Meyer.
