If we could sign Rojo on loan and Lascelles on a perm deal that would be great business in my opinion. These two are massive improvements on what we have now and from the list of players being linked this morning

There aren't many that wouldnt improve the back four at the moment !! I like Rojo, I also like Smalling and (whispers) Jones. If Mina comes in then Utd will want to move one, maybe 2 of those three on - we should without doubt have a serious look. Lascelles wont be sold by Barcodes, they'll riot if that happens.

All the more reason to take they’re best defender and get them relegated. I wouldn’t want jones smalling or Rojo if I’m totally honest. Yes improvement but Rojo out of the 3 would be the only one worth taking a risk on IMO. Can’t stand jones

I think I'd have Smalling. For now at least.

Jones would be a good replacement for Jags. He looks the sort who needs to tie his laces when it all kicks off.

There’s been a few awkward comments about Unsworth I’ve heard in the last few months.

I'm sure he's a nice bloke, and I think he's a terrific coach for the U23s.

But I don't think he handled it brilliantly when moved up into the first team. I don't blame him, mind. But heard little bits that show he wasn't exactly the 'loveable blue' he comes across as. One particular thing was with Vlasic, and Unsy's ego definitely came to the fore with that.

Aye, pretty much what I thought from the few times I saw him play last season.

Silva definitely likes that type of player in the middle, but whether there's any truth in the links is up in the air for me. I imagine we may have enquired, unless you know more from the Stoke side?

With Joe Royle’s appointment as DOF at Wigan I’d expect a couple of our youngsters to head in that direction.
