Maybe there just aren't any good centre halves available
That's the fella whose name I was trying to recall in a post a couple of days ago. I ended up referring to him as "that Batty bloke" lol
There are aspects to the US system that I like...salary caps, squad numbers etc. It makes for a more even playing field (although Golden State Warriors' domination of the NBL bucks that ambition). I like that Le Bron James bloke though. I see he's just funded a new school in his hometown of Akron. More gazillionaire sports (and business ) folk should be as philanthropic. I run into mega bucks Yanks down here in NZ and they're all investing in South Island 'bolt-holes' in case US society blows-up. I'm thinking: why don't you use some of your vast wealth to try to prevent that happening? I do not have a lot of time for most of these blokes.

Agreed... He would be an upgrade on what we have but it would be like having a drink from expired milk to expired chocolate milk.. the chocolate milk is better but it is still going to taste badFeel like Rojo would just be another expensive dud tbh.
As long as the fortune is for someone who deserves it that's fineWe are going to pay a fortune for a CB because we have failed to close early.
Some of the CBs Lyon have been linked with, like Ruben Dias especially or Bruno Viana, would be good buys for us. Would much rather look at players like this then Rojo(who is underrated on here but not the type of player we should be looking at as a club)
