There are aspects to the US system that I like...salary caps, squad numbers etc. It makes for a more even playing field (although Golden State Warriors' domination of the NBL bucks that ambition). I like that Le Bron James bloke though. I see he's just funded a new school in his hometown of Akron. More gazillionaire sports (and business ) folk should be as philanthropic. I run into mega bucks Yanks down here in NZ and they're all investing in South Island 'bolt-holes' in case US society blows-up. I'm thinking: why don't you use some of your vast wealth to try to prevent that happening? I do not have a lot of time for most of these blokes.

Too many Yanks are like that, you should probably avoid the ones on GOT as well

Pleeeeeaaaaase bring in someone Everton. I would prefer to not have centerbacks that can barely move. Throw all the money at Newcastle for Lacelles or lots of money and Lookman for Upamecano

Gibson and Keane had a partnership at England U21 level under Southgate.

He isn't the worst option but maybe the simplest solution is best.

Getting a defender to just defend rather then trying to make them to play out and try and set up attacks.

Some of the CBs Lyon have been linked with, like Ruben Dias especially or Bruno Viana, would be good buys for us. Would much rather look at players like this then Rojo(who is underrated on here but not the type of player we should be looking at as a club)

Where did Gormless Walsh end up?.
That meff (along with Fatty K) was a seriously poor appointment and blame for a lot of the angst manifesting itself in this thread, lies fairly and squarely at their feet...speaking of; did Fatty's shipment of flip-flops ever arrive?
