The high hopes i had for him i thought he was going to be a Luis Suarez clone with all i read on here about it.

Damp squib or what.

On the bright side we will make a profit on him if Brands/Silva decide to sell him.

I know he was rubbish for us but he’s very young and we were absolutely awful last season, especially at the beginning when he was here. Not exactly ideal situation for a young lad to be coming into.

Think it’s worth keeping hold of him through pre-season, see how he settles into what will presumably be a new system better suited to the players available. If he’s still not showing it then loan him and sell him in Jan/next summer. Or at the end of this window if possible

Give him another chance. I'm cautious though because he looks abit like Leon Osman and we all know he was a bad little kopite grass.

A question for you. When/where did you see any evidence that there was a “good player in there” please?

He was very good the season before playing inna team that pass the ball on the ground. He played as an inside left cutting in on his right foot.

Koeman tried to use his as a target man after not signing a striker. He was also carrying a knock and onky played in games against the top 6 so hardly given a chance really.

I agree. If we’d have had a fit Sig and Walcott playing with him at the start of the season he might’ve had more of a chance.

I hope he gets a go in the close season, with a more tactical and intelligent manager, it might suit his game, confidence and prove to be a bargain after all

But when I saw him play he honestly could not even control the ball properly. He ran around at speed like a headless chicken. He has no pace, no strength and was utterly embarrassing against Chelsea when he came on as sub.

Furthermore, he has no desire to remain here. That, he has made plainly apparent.

I gave this post a like.

I only wish I could have given it two likes, one for your comments about Sandro Ramirez himself and another for your use of the term “inside left” instead of the tedious hipster expression, “number 10” ;)

What was the excuse at Sevilla then?

His confidence was shot to [Poor language removed] and he was brought in as cover not to start games. He was mom in one of the ladt games. Not fair to expect someone getting 15-20mins a game to settle quick and start banging them in.

If hes on 120k a week then thats £6mil a season.

Over 3 seasons (i think he signed a 4 year contract) its £18mil.

I think a spanish side would pay £15mil for him which we could then give him a £10mil kickback on (if needed) to get him off the books and get our money back.
