It's not so much what I think he is right now, he is obviously raw and won't start a every game. It's what he could be. And how we've treated him. I think he should have got a good run of minutes but BFS preferred a player with one leg because he cost 25m. He has loads of potential we need to give him the chance.

Why are you so angry all the time, why is every post seemingly slagging someone off with pure venom? You strike me as the type of person who'd pull your own willy off during male private time. Chill mate, Lookman clearly has potential and wants to play for a team where creative players are encouraged and coached properly, it's hardly spitting on the badge. Bring him back, give him a proper run in the side and let's see what he can do up against PL defences. He can't do any worse than Bolasie surely?

It's a very pessimistic position to take to look at a talented young player on a 3 year contract and think "he's going to become a first team player, refuse to sign new contracts for 2 years and we'll lose all value in him".

Relax, he's on a good contract, let's wait and see if he has what it takes to break into the first team.

Situation Barkley all over again. Need to keep him on long contracts. When we sell he must have 2 yrs left. So if I is going to make it to the top , and it's not next season (which it probably won't be) we need him signed up. If he has a great season after the coming one he will have 12 months left

Young, with potential to make an impact on the first team and form part of the PL squad.
He’s shown in glimpses what he is capable of and hopefully after his loan and as he gets older he will have more consistency.
We shouldn’t be selling unless he absolutely doesn’t want to be here.

I've just read RBL are readying a bid of £10m because of course even if we wanted to sell him we'd take less than we paid what a load of rubbish add another 30 on and maybe we will come to the table. He should be convinced to stay now.
