Greedy, self-centred prick. Pulled this stunt twice with United too. A leopard never changes it’s spots.

The situation is entirely different though. Everton are happy to see Wayne leave. I don't believe that Rooney is making any ultimatums, but if he was, then nobody would care. He just needs to make a decision, stay or go.

I sincerely the hope the next manager comes in and tells him he’s a sub at best next season after we’ve replaced him. Then see him throw his toys out the pram (again) and sod off. He’s poisonous, far more trouble than he’s worth.

I agree. It's also highly likely to happen. No manager in the right mind would want to keep Rooney on so that he can stink the place out and undermine the manager.

It's up to Wayne, stay here but your opportunities are going to be severely limited, or sod off to the US for your final pay day. I'm hoping he chooses the US, and I think he will.

I hope he chooses us too mate. But up Wayne lad!

He's also one of the few we've got who knows what is required to play and win at the highest level.
And then there's the pesky issue of all those stats of his for the season.
Is he the main issue why we've had a shocking season? No. He's helped keep us afloat. He's not the problem, it's most of the rest around him who are (including the management).
Me, I'd keep him with an eye to coaching and development.
