Jose Mourinho is boss

Yeah, but most teams lose a game you would expect them to win at some point.

Why would you expect him to build an entertaining team? He has never done it before.
True but thats why he is not suited to Man Utd. They have been associated with positive, attacking football for as long as I remember. He just doesn’t fit with the club’s traditions

What damage did Moyes do? He was there for nine months or so! And he signed two or three players, with Mata and Fellaini still regularly getting matches.

He also got them further in the Champions League than Van Gaal or Mourinho.

Louis was the one they trusted the reshape the squad
What damage ? He turned a title winning side into a team who come 6th or 7th ffs

e
ok mate Moyes didn’t do any harm at all . K den
You can say he wasted a season. But he signed a couple of decent players and did not overhaul the squad. He should have done no more damage than, say, Chelsea having Grant for less than a season.

The problems at Utd were deep-rooted due to years of under investment

you don’t think he should of at least had a team who won the title challenging for a CL place at least ?

They did challenge for a CL place - but then it fell apart. He then got the bullet. But he never left the squad in any great disarray - it was already on its last legs

he delivered Utd there worse finish since the early 90’s . You can’t defend that in any way . It was inexcusable.

Probably although replacing of a long term manager can cause unexpected disruption throughout an organisation and I think Ed Woodward taking over from David Gill didn’t help either, especially as he was inexperienced in recruitment.

FWIW Moyes still has United’s best record in the CL since Ferguson left!

How is it inexcusable - it is hardly eunheard of for a team at the end of an era to struggle. He was set up to fail, and would have been wise not to have taken the job. Woodward hardly helped by trying to sign players below their market value. At least Woodward learned from that.

How can you say he's a great man manager when he's lost the dressing room so many times?
He's an egotistical tit. He doesn't give a toss about his club or his players. He only cares about his own reputation,, and players are getting wise to him.
He's an egotistical tit who wins trophies, to be fair.

the way Woodward dealt with the transfer window didn’t help but at the same time Utd binned him in the April so clearly they weren’t happy with his performance . He still had a talented side whatever way you look at it .
