I seek not compliments nor recognition. I only seek to bring truth and wisdom to the unenlightened.
Well, one post, using bizarre and unrelated hypothetical heritage scenarios.
But then an actual great post, using cold hard facts, stats and analysis.
(The ones liking his posts are as much to blame to be fair, they only encourage him.)
Not sure why he's such an exciting prospect to take over as Arsenal haven't improved much since 2008 on the pitch whilst he's been there have they?

He’s tried in the past to but Usmanov our and he said no. He wants full controlSurely it can only be a few shares at a time and is not the motive to keep them away from Usmanov?
Net worth US$15.6 billion (2017)

Scratching my head at some of the comments in this thread from people trying to define the rationale of a shareholder...
Comparing Usmsnov to pension funds and investment cos? One group has a million customers to serve and the other is a boundlessly rich megalomaniac.
Suggesting that our resident George Soros - the esk - holds Everton shares only to make money, just like any other 'common' share (Facebook, Google) ?
A shareholder takes an individual decision. It can be strategic, tactical, to make money, to frustrate an adversary, or just for sentimental reasons. There doesn't have to be a profit motive - even if it turns out that a profit is made. And a shareholder can have multiple different reasons for holding multiple different shares.
It's a big wide world out there - trying to put everyone into the same box makes no sense.
Well it's easy to sucked in by that of course but has the fella had any success on the pitch anywhere cos personally I don't care much for new stadiums or overpriced season tickets and a load of hype. Arsenal have stagnated if not deteriorated since he's been on board. I know he's not the main man there but still if he was eager for success maybe he'd be letting people know he wasn't happy with the way things are going down there.Net worth US$15.6 billion (2017)

I was with you all the way until this ungracious reply to a compliment.
Part of debate is compromise and recognising the other point of view.
