Usmanov would not have appointed Big Sam and would have sacked Walsh last summer. He also would have gutted the playing staff.
He would have employed someone to that job for him. Someone like Moshiri

My guess would be that big names have better options than us or are already at better clubs. I mean we did try for Mata, Witsel and Koulibaly that we know of and looking back to the summer, Keane, Sandro, Klaassen and Pickford were all seen as great signings with bigger clubs sniffing.I would love Usmanov to come on board, but if he was funding the club. Surely we would have been in for bigger names. Maybe this summer will tell us more, in terms of the manager and players we target.
That could happen mate. Usmanov didn't outright say no to Kronke, he just said the price wasn't what he valued the shares at, from what I could decipher reading between the lines on Usmanovs last statement. The share price won’t drop too much
Arsenal is a cash cow that makes money every year.
Kronke would gladly pay top dollar for Usmanovs shares
He could then take the company private , incorporate them in America with the rest of his franchises and not have to worry about AGM’s
He could leverage Arsenal to fund building of new Arenas in the states
Mad that, I'd assume they'd be dropping considering Arsenals absence from the Champions League, bad performances and fans protesting etc. That link considered maybe Usmanov is waiting for the perfect moment to sell then.Quite the opposite on shares taking a hit......at an all time high and climbing

Be in charge of Everton before the months out

I would take that.Be in charge of Everton before the months out
No chance, has to sell his shares first, has to be checked and ratified by the FA, then has to buy into Everton and same thing again. I reckon if it happens it'll be in the Summer at the earliestBe in charge of Everton before the months out
You do realise this is the GOT forumI would take that.
Do we have any facts to back this up?
I’d say the market knows that Kronke is a willing buyer and will pay top dollar for any share that becomes available
He recently bought a tiny amount of shares but paid top whack
There is no doubt he wants to buy the whole club lock stock and barrel.
I think he’s playing a cat and mouse game with Usmanov to see who blinks first.
Be interesting to see what Kronke does if someone bids for Usmanovs shareholding
Opinion or knowledge?Be in charge of Everton before the months out
I have had a really busy few days, (thanks snow), and am very tired.
If Usnamov wants to sell, but not to Kronke, who wants to buy, why doesnt Kronke buy them via a seemingly unconnected 3rd party, then buy them from them?
Or am I really really tired, or watched too much Hustle this week?
Take a wild guess.I would take that.
