Not sure if you are on the wind up, but that’s a load of bollocks.

I'm impressed you can get so much wrong with such a limited word count.

Watched a different game to me mate. The lad is a player imo.

I can recognize that my original statement was potentially abrasive, but I am genuinely not on the wind up here lads; I think we; and the game in general, over values finishing and is willing to overlook massive deficiencies in skill set when solid finishing is present.

I appreciate the goal as much as everyone else; however, I believe if we are to make a player out of Tosun he needs constant matches that we can ill afford to present him with in the first team due to his poor hold up play, dreadful first touch, and abysmal passing. I believe that time in the U23s combined with work in the summer can develop these skill sets so that we may have a solid CF in Tosun come next season.

If you individually, or in this case collectively, disagree with my assessment that is your prerogative and I do not begrudge you in the slightest. I just love talking football.

I doff my cap to you, everyone is entitled to their own opinion mate, we all want the same thing after all.

Sorry if I came across a bit of a helmet.

So, interesting to see the article on the main website, for those few that thought it was a poor performance from Tosun, as a striker he still had the highest pass completion percentage among all of our players, and along with the couple of times he put Walcott in, also won 5 of his 8 duels against a very strong defensive side.

Lets face it, if he has the Burnley performance every week, any game we lose will have nothing to do with him and everything to do with other players on the pitch.

He's not going to adjust to the Premier League by being left in the U23's. He doesn't need to be developed, he needs game time to prove himself and his goal (which was not a sitter btw) is the first step in doing just that.
His passing was not abysmal at all. A couple didn't come off but unless you're watching Man City, that tends to happen for forwards. The ones you can say were abysmal in passing were our deep midfielders.
He's the only striker who has any genuine threat to him. Niasse is annoying to defenders but that's about it. DCL can support an attack but cannot lead it.

He seems to have a good touch, and eye for a pass. Once he's played a bit more I think he'll develop a good combination with Gylffi and Theo.

Sure he doesn't run around as much as Niasse, or appear as fast, but he seems more focused. I'm hoping Sam keeps starting him.

Needs a run in the side now. The goal will give him confidence and I expect him to bag on Saturday.

With all the problems this club has ATM this Lad is currently not one of them. Not his fault the manager won't play him and when he does he completely isolates him.Who knows if he will turn out to be a good striker for us but he is currently not being given a fair shake.

This will be the excuse in the summer.

"Unfortunately we've forgotten the pin number and therefore can't sign any players".

It wasn't an easy header by any means... really good finish. His cross pass for Walcott was quality to
Agreed. He was fairly close to the goalie and needed to generate real power with his head, and that he did. I dont think many of our other players would score that one.
