..jury’s still out for me. He might be a finisher but we don’t create much. He took his header well. Some of his back to goal play was ok, but some of his more straightforward passes were very poor. He created a chance for Walcott that the defender cut out because it was a poor pass.

Worth a run but not pulling up trees.

..he was terrific in the air against Spurs. I’m sure I posted that during/after the match. He’s got decent upper body strength which is a real plus in the air.

He’s certainly got something, but he needs to be part of a strategy. A team that plays to his strengths, team mates who compliment his style. We seem to be buy piecemeal.

Overall, I thought he had a really positive game, even though it's clear that he's still adapting to the pace and physicality of the Premier League.

While I understand he was tired, when Sam decided to sub him rather than Lewin - who did very little - the crowd rightfully showed their displeasure.

he plays well if the team can hold the ball and can do more than 3 passes,that’s simple as that.
everton can only maintain their passing based dominant football for 30-40 minutes, and any pressure comes on them, they directly switch into longball-lucky header assist system on attacking. that’s on sam.

also he saves his sprints and pace for attacking,not chasing opponents gk or press by himself to 3 opponent players.
but I think he must press more just to give the impression of tryhard.
he could finish 1 goals 2 assists today, that’s promising for me.

Actually Everton is good up front, not quality as the top 6 maybe but still pretty good in my opinion. Excluding Pickford and maybe Holgate and Coleman, every remaining player should either be sold or practice passing play everyday from 8 AM to 5 PM. Today, only way to break off the pressure from Burnley was to keep and pass the ball around but when you hoof every ball you get as a defender, it is quite impossible, every ball sent forward hit a ball and came right back. Defense should be responsible to get the ball to up front in a meaningful manner.

One other thing that came to my attention, lots of the time, there were 2 Everton players trying to control the ball at the same [Poor language removed] time. Gana-Rooney, Walcott-Davies, Cuco-Gana (which led to the corner where Burnley scored the second goal), players don't even know where they should position themselves with respect to their friends. Serious organizational problems which comes down to BFS.

And Cuco, just sell him while you can, that guy is no player at all.

Took his goal well but his mobility continues to concern me. Difficult to excel in this league without being either a physical or technical freak. Not sure he ticks either box.

Probably about our level if we are honest but I was hoping for a bit more for £27m and £100k+ a week

Don't think he's that slow actually mate, one thing i did notice is that he comes alive on the counter and has really good off the ball movement, sadly as we attack about 3 times a game it's not something we are exactly using well...

Worst player in the squad. Scoring a sitter gifted to you by Coleman does not excuse the awful hold up play, inability to pass the ball 3 yards and horrendous touch. The lad needs a run of fixtures with the U23s and the benefit of hands on coaching. Niasse in his place and we win the match; despite our dual liabilities at CB.

His technique is a lot better than Niasse’s, but saying that so is mine and I’m 40 with two new knees.
