This simply can't be stated strongly enough.

Ever since we've come into money, we've spent very poorly (on the whole).

£25m for Bolasie?
£25m for Klaassen?
£45m for Sigurdsson?
Schneiderlin at the time looked a good purchase at a decent price, but time has proved this not to be the case.

Tosun? Too early to say.
Vlasic? Too early to say.
Keane... the jury is still out.
Lookman has shown promise.
Pickford seems a good purchase.
Gana was value for money.
Sandro was cheap - even if he doesn't work out we can get our money back

Our recruitment team needs a shake-up.
It hurts every time I see that fee for Bolasie. What a shocking signing he is. Hopefully Palace stay up and take him back.

Our spending spree reminded me of when you read about someone from a working class background who wins millions in the lottery, goes out on twenty holidays and buys thirty cars and ends up broke again in a couple of years.

We hired a scout and allowed him to spend what he wanted...

At Leicester he'd have been working with restraints as he wasn't the one in charge of financials, he's shown he's utterly clueless at valuating players monetary worth.

We've overpaid for every single player who didn't have a set release clause (Gueye and Sandro), only one we didn't besides was Walcott who Arsenal effectively did him a favour for his loyalty by asking for a low fee for him.

Ignoring the absolute obvious ones from this summer, even Lookman and Vlasic cost far more than they should have, we set a bloody transfer ecord for his country on Vlasic, purely because he had a couple of good games against us.

would love us to take a punt on bernard, possibly as a sweetener to tempt fonseca in the summer too?
He could be the creative player we've been craving since arteta and pienaar left

Everton are just like the lotto lout who spunked all his wedge on old bangers and drugs!

long live mickey carrol!

Guillermo Barros Schelotto is shaping up to be a very special manager. Born winner. Good English and plays a very premier league style at a huge club.

I think Heinze will be very good too.

similar situation too, talented player unlucky with injuries, big clubs linked but never took a chance, could be brilliant

Bernard mate?

Can't remember him ever missing a game for Shakhtar whilst i was watching that league, what injuries has he exactly been unlucky with?

The knock against Bernard is that he's about 5'4 (not exaggerating either) and built like Juninho was - so major doubts if he could handle a more physical league. @MoutsGoat
