As of the day of the Palace game he'd been here 36 days.In that time there were 5 games (heard he had a bout of flu as well) he started 2 & on the bench for 3 ....not exactly out the picture is he?

I think the fact that we did chuck him in to start with is what's causing some of the concern. Had he come in and sat on the bench, it would have been easy to say 'it was always going to take him a while to settle, we're just biding our time' but because we put him in straight away and then pulled him out, you can't help assuming that he's not quite where they thought he'd be. That's a real concern when you've thrown away as much money as we have recently,particularly as we've probably paid a premium to get him in now only to find that we probably didn't need to because he's not playing anyway.

Obviously you're right that it's still early days, and i'm certainly not meaning to suggest that he's flopped, but I can definitely understand why people are edgy.

I'm not moaning either.

I'm just saying that it's hardly surprising that people who've been waiting on a new striker for 7 months are a little bit put out when one comes in and finds himself behind 2 players who've been here all along. That clearly wasn't the plan, as is obvious from the comments from Allardyce and the fact that we pitched him straight into the team. It is absolutely undeniable that the intention was for him to be playing from the outset, and he hasn't been so people start to get a bit worried. That worry is magnified by the fact that this happened with a couple of players earlier in the season, who now look as if they have no future at the club and will be sold on at the first opportunity.

It all seems pretty obvious to me, but hey ho... some wanna moan at everything fans do.

Some good points there mate.
Allardyce's comments aint one of them.
Not known for his honesty.
Says Keane struggling...he plays him.
Says Davies struggling...he plays him.
Rooney & Sigurdson cant play together...low and behold he plays them.
Expect Tosun to start every game soon mate.
 

Be interesting to see if he starts on Saturday, im all for keeping a winning team but if he has worked hard at the training camp he should at least get 30 minutes
 
I think that he has no choice but to play him soon. Because we have a limited period of time to tell if he is the real deal and can be our main striker, or whether we need to find someone in the summer. We dont want a repeat of this past season, so that means we need to give Tosun a run of games at the end of this season to see if he shows he can be the main guy.
 

when he was in besiktas he was always suprised me about his potential. I believe he is going to be the striker of everton.
I'm usually so optimistic about him but I really think that this camp will make him connect with the team more and create a harmony.
he didn't know how the team plays when sam throwed him in his first and second game and expect some quality stiker abilities when the team plays totally defensive.


For example ,He gave that pass to nowhere where there was always quaresma waiting for him back in his besiktas days. Also he didn't know everton backs never support attacks.
