The one thing with Wayne is that he will know that he made a terrible error when we were cruising and that it could have cost us 2 points very easily. He wont shy away from responsibility but he won't stop looking to get on the ball. I like him in midfield but he rarely has 90 minutes in him. This is something that needs to be accounted for.

No one mentioning the diagonal ball to Keane for the second goal. Sublime. Can't people just stop scrutinising his every movement and look at the bigger picture? Did Walcott play better because his mate Rooney was on the pitch!? Had he helped him settle quicker?

We won the game, it was a harsh penalty and most players will make one or two mistakes in a game. You could apply the same level of scrutiny to every player and come to the conclusion that they were all shocking at some point or another in the game. We never seem to be happy, A great 3 points, well played lads. Onwards and upwards with Rooney.

I love that he is back but he shouldn't be starting games. His legs are gone and he is a liability at times but still has a lot of useful goals in him for us (I hope).
