Usmanov

Wether we think the money has been spent wisely is irrelevant to the fact that Usmanov is already involved in and sponsoring Everton
Your boss pays your wages he doesn’t necessarily oversee how you spend it
I totally get what you are saying... I just find it crazy that he is involved. Just because a company that he is a majority holder of controls a portion of angry birds company makes me actually involved. It all seems just weird to me.

Weird is right. The narrative of join the dots is a compelling one, lets face it, but so are the issues of him selling out of Arsenal not straight forward.

As Roydo alluded to its a case of joining the dots.
Too many random occurrences and facts that don’t make sense
Usmanov buying Moshiri out
Moshiri buying Everton
Moshiri buying the Liver building with a global property company ( Corestate) in their first British venture
USM sponsoring FF
Angry birds ( who Usmanov has links to) sponsoring our sleeves
Stadium build to kickstart docks and allow the big boys in.
Moshiri has stated that he and Usmanov do everything together and that has been true in the past
Usmanov strengthening a club that traditionally fought for 6/7 place which is what Arsenal are fighting for now so possibly affecting the value of his shareholding in Arsenal
Usmanov has for the first time said he’s prepared to sell his Arsenal shares , just not to Kronke
Who will buy 30% of Arsenal and have no say in the running of the club
There is a plan in place and only a few know it
It’s a case of wait and see

These lads don’t become billionaires by luck.
I would say Moshiri is one of the few Accountants in the world who started with nothing and became a billionaire
When you see companies like Corestate buying half the Liver building as their first British venture you say WTF and why not London
Corestate recently bought a 670m Euro apt buisness with a company that’s worth 500 billion
There is something going on and I don’t give a toss who makes millions out of it once Everton end up with a shiny new 61878 capacity stadium on the docks.
If you amortise a 600m loan over 30 yrs at 4% ( which is a good guaranteed return for a large pension scheme or investment fund as current interest rates are near zero hence the need for a council guarantee ) its 26 m or thereabouts a year.
20 m per year stadium naming rights for 10 years , 9 m Sportspesa shirt deal , 3 m per year angry birds deal and the figures work out
And before anyone says we won’t get 20 m a year naming rights Usmanov increased his personal wealth by 2 b last year so 20 m is 1% of that.
There is that and more to be made on the docks

PS
What was the point in sponsoring a training ground
Hardly going to get him global coverage
A new stadium with state of the art broadcasting facilities that Sky and BT will be all over on the other hand will

If you listen to Dave et al they become billionaires by being idiots. There must be some very wealthy people on here, unfortunately I do appear to be one of them.
