Holgate Racially Abused By Firmino - The Guardian

How can an anti-racist organisation dealing with football NOT get involved in this?

Unreal. The Kopites frighten everyone. Probably expected twittergeddon and a hand grenade in the post.

In the interview Troy(forgot his last name) said that they weren't allowed to approach the players until the FA have finished investigating, not sure what kick it out can do if they are hamstrung like that and if that is the case I ask myself why they're not allowed to support players who have been abused(allegedly or not)

Just seen Ferdinands comments without seeing the whole clip. Is he involved with kick it out? Wondering how he knows kick it out didn’t get in touch with Holgate.

It’s pretty shocking though. A high profile racism incident and they haven’t got involved. Unjustifiable on their part.

The guy from kick it out was on the Premier League show on BT sport, he told them they weren't allowed to approach the players by order of the FA.

If found guilty would clubs be able to ban Firminio entering the stadium, much in the same way a supporter would get banned?

Cheers mate, didn’t see that.

So the FA are blocking support to a young black player in the midst of a race row. Do we know why? Because that is beyond appalling.

It doesn't make sense, it won't surprise you to learn that he said UEFA were even harder to deal with.

I'm surprised at the FA though, maybe they think it's showing guilt on Firminho part if kick it out side with Holgate, I don't know.

Very strange. Surely kick it out should be in contact with both sides of the argument? It’s not admitting guilt or siding with either party.

I don’t understand why they require the FAs permission to offer help and/or support
