This is one of my biggest infuriations, he did absolutely nothing to get himself back in the side, absolutely nothing.

No w i know alot of people on here are not tom davies biggest fans but the lad has been moved from position to position in and out of the team given different roles week in week out!
Schneiderfraud has got his place back randomly after a 20 minute cameo in the derby and not missed a game since, despite stinking the gaff out v swansea and getting hooked after an hour with us significantly improving once he went off.
Our best midfield 3 so far this season has been Gana sitting deep, Davies providing the aggression and legs and rooney using his passing ability, as a 3 we havent lost with them, barely conceded and scored goals. Then for some reason after the derby he changes that and hes been picked ever since

To a degree I think Sam has been experimenting. Learning about his squad, who can do the business and who can't.

Ultimately we won't know until maybe february after some movement in the transfer market.

Perhaps if Gana wasn't injured then Schneids would have made less appearances in recent weeks for example.

I think you are giving Sam abit to much credit there bud, Bournemouth away he could of easily taken Schneiderlin out for McCarthy and played a more forward thinking player, likewise yesterday. Even if he wnated to play that formation baningime, davies and besic were all availible

I've been criticising the line ups and tinkering properly within another thread.

Was just posing a thought about why we might have seen Schneids so much recently!

He did well tonight, but Gueye has to be number one in there and him and Snides are poor together, so I'd play McCarthy along side Gueye healso did well tonight.

This - have to give that set up a go. Won’t lose any sleep if Schneiderlin never plays for us again.
