I'm just hoping he's brought in with the perspective that he'll be backup to a new £40m+ striker like bas dost next season. Not many teams in Europe will let a star striker go in Jan.
the guy cant control the ball. you dont need to see more of that. I know him from turkey days, he is a pure counter attack player but that is not enough to create chances in a balanced game like this. I would not mind if everton gives up on cenk if you are OK with your front line by the way.

I don't think desperation is the right word. We want to see him in EPL and Everton is the realistic option. He can play in this team. I watched the first half of Manu game and know Niasse from Turkey as well. I can easily say that Cenk might make a whole lot difference.
