This guy can't be at the very top of our short list of strikers. He just can't. Im no professional scout but there are better options out there. For me, he does not check all the boxes. This is my opinion and for a reasonable fee I can get behind him. However you attach an inflated transfer fee to him, for me I want to see some checked boxes.

Like someone said earlier this is only one area that needs to be addressed. If we dont, Tosun all just be isolated up top.

Id rather see that short list and a real go for that as opposed to trying to put a bandaid on a broken leg.

That's it. Besiktas playing with only 2 and half defenders, rest are designed to attack. We have no real defending back but attacking backs, 2 attacking wingers who not only cross but drive into the box - especially Babel -, we don't even have real DMC but 2 attacking MC and a false 9 additional to Cenk. This type of 11 is madness on paper but trainer Gunes created a miracle. Even in the CL group games, teams tend to play cautiously - but us; please watch Porto and Leipzig games how they were desperate to get the ball, accepting the dominance, trying to avoid more goals. Cenk was the essential part of that machine acting like the spear.

If you don't play like this he will look like trash which is not his fault.
