Yup , but the FIFA 18 generation have no patience . Howard Kendall was junk for a long time after he joined us but went on to become a legend !

Spot on.This lad needs to have moment or two ,reminds me of that Celtic midfielder was it Collins?came with a big rep.was a waste of space.Davy needs to prove us wrong but needs game time.

Hoping we keep the lad and give him time to adjust. (He scored more points than rooney and DLC in that completely crap Sure pressure challenge thing too, thats worth as much as a high FIFA rating

He won't get time, our squad is unbalanced and there are players ahead of him in midfield. We need defenders and forwards and need to make space in the squad. I'd like to have seen him get time, but we don't have that luxury. I haven't seen enough of him, but get the impression he might excel in a particular system, recycling and moving the ball around, but that sure as hell ain't Big Sam's system.

But we do have that luxury - We're not going to get back the fee we paid for him and so we might as well wait and see if if he can live up to the hype !

Agreed. Could work in a midfield 3 in a similar one to what Davies tends to play best in.

His problem is just that he's one cook too many IMO

We're limited to 25, so every player that comes in Jan will have to displace a player from the current 25. We need a striker and a leftback, possibly a CB - that's three players that will have to drop out of the squad. Besic, McCarthy, perhaps, but Klaassen must be a target if he isn't currently getting on the bench.
