...I think Walsh has to have some culpability for the poor summer transfer dealings. Saying that, none of us truly know the process. It appears Moshiri feels responsibility largely lies with Koeman, it looks like Walsh has been key in bringing in Allardyce but perhaps more importantly Shakespeare.

Walsh has got his own stable at the heart of the club he will not have any excuses going forward. I voted ‘in’ for that reason.

We’ll never know who was really in control of the last few windows so we get to find out in January how Walsh (or Allardyce) does.

..I agree. I think there’s two aspects of it; (1) the identification and agreement of players required: (2) the acquisition of those players.

It’ll be interesting the part Kenwright plays in part 2. I do know Walsh has found him to be a hinderence in the past.

It still annoys me Bill is allowed to play a role in vital functions such as securing transfer targets. It’s been naff for years now you would think Moshiri had plans to solve this.
 
This punk winds me up no end. The second most anonymous man at the football club behind Kenwright, unless of course we're winning a game and he's standing up doing his slow-clap routine.

The influence of Koeman in proceedings will be seen with what happens to a lot of the players we had incoming last summer, a quick offloading of a fair amount of them would indicate that maybe it wasn't 'all' Walsh, very few DOF will jettison a player they 'sourced' so quickly as it shows they where wrong.

Going to be an interesting January, in terms of who leaves and who comes in and if we do spend on fixing the problems or if we just settle for being safe and muddle on through.

IF we choose the latter - then have to figure that Allardyce is a 6 month stop gap manager - IF he is backed then chances are he is gonna be here next season if he does ok.
