13 Reasons Why.. I want Sam as our manager

1. It might lead to us adopting a novel concept called ‘defending.’
2. It’ll let Unsworth go back to doing what he does well.
3. The drama queens of the club will be out pronto.
4. It gives us a cat in hells chance of staying in the premier league.
5. It might stop the sickening love in on Everton social media about ‘our’ boys.
6. We will sign a striker. He won’t be a technically gifted lad but he will score goals.
7. It makes the super fans who get a semi on watching Portuguese football sad.
8. It will be nice to have a manager that was aware of our existence last time we won something.
9. Might bin off the dross.
10. Experienced international manager.
11. No more John Ebbrell on the bench.
12. Has no ambitions of managing Barcelona.
13. Can dance better than Martinez.

What are yours?

You started running out of ideas at 10 but OK

We need somebody to shake us up, Sam looks like being given the job to do it,
If he gets the job clears out the old boys club behind the scenes (i want unsworth to stay myself as assistant or back to the 23s) and gets us moving up the table we can take stock and think about moving upwards again.

The only manager to get any kind of tune out of Ravel Morrison (who I hope he brings with him). First class man manager.

Once did a 4-6-0 to glorious effect for West Ham away to Tottenham. Which suggests that he's vastly underrated tactician. He might use that 4-6-0 effectively at GP to make use of our abundance of attacking midfielders.

It's time for us to put our misgivings to one side and embrace him.

What about 11 reasons why I don’t:

1. Look at the state of any club after he’s left. He screws them up by signing 30 odd year old players on too long contracts after a last payday.
2. That stupid Bluetooth earpiece.
3. Kevin Nolan.
4. The fact that he threw away his dream job just to make a tiny bit more coin.
5. His stupid voice.
6. The fact that he brings either Phil Brown, Sammy Lee or Shakespear with him.
7. The fact that even Newcastle sacked him after 5 months as his football and signings were so rottten.
8. Both the size and shape of his head. It’s ridiculous
9. The fact that he was last seen as progressive in 1999
10. The fact that he gets all uppity when his football is described as long ball and rubbish. When it essentially is both those things.
11. Finally we just don’t need him. Unsworth has done very badly, we just need any experienced manager and coach to sort this lot out to easy finish mid table. This is too extreme.
No 8 alone is reason enough.

1. Forget about Giroud, Andy Carroll in on loan while out injured until May.
2. Get some yard dogs in the mold of Kevin Davies to try and break bones of other team's players instead of having ours broken.
3. Possession will be split equally between us and opposition as the ball will be out of play or in the air for 55-60% of the game.
4. Get an over the hill former sensational player to provide some flair (Djourkaeff etc)
5. If we're really lucky, we could maybe see Diouf in the royal blue.
6. Forget about taking knives to gunfights, when we get 17th on the final day of the season on goal difference we will have lived up to our potential.
7. Big Sam will resemble a bean bag chair if we ever concede more than 3.
8. He'll (hopefully) [Poor language removed] us off happily when we scrape survival with a depleted squad and still no plan for the future.
9. He'll make sure the back 4 is under a lot less pressure as the ball will be safely in the air for most of the game (see pt 3).
10. He has a proven style of play which has not changed for closing on 30 years.
11. He's no nonsense, much unlike Koeman who thrived man management and "soft" values.
12. He'll get the team playing to their skills, no more square pegs in round holes. Hoof it to our Big Lad and watch him score.
13. BFS is a proven escape artist. (Yet only 2 of his former clubs have retained PL status after he left or was sent packing).

Re 13.

Those two are currently in the drop zone so he might achieve the full house as early as this coming May ;)

Never lost a 2 goal lead. Never been relegated.

Big Sam 2 - 0 Marco Silva.

Won more games then he has Lost

Big Sam 2 - 1 Marco Silva.

Loads of fun stats - shall we do trophies? Winning percentage??

FACT - Sam has lost more games then he has won at EVERY club he has been in charge of.

If he gets the job it means we offered him a long term contract and an even bigger increase on whatever salary we offered him the first time. We are a joke.

Sam took Notts County down early in his career. (He’d only taken over half way though a season (like Silva at Hull) but they still went down).

Never taken a prem team down i should've said. I'm not for Sam being managers, im just trying to look at positives haha!

He'll be worth every penny when he keeps us up and possibly wins a cup. Dogs of War 21st Century Stylee
