“Fans” that won’t support us if we get Allardyce

Kirchoff played a pivotal role in our season mate. Khazri, was unfit but he's had the problem for years - Nothing to do with SA. In fact, his work ate improved under Sam, only for him to return back to his lazy ways under Moyes.

Don't get me wrong. He didn't come in and instantly turn us around. It was a long process, but fundamentally, he improved us and left us in a much better position that before he come in. His job was to keep us up - He done just that.

Kone's head was turned when you were were interested. Again, hardly Sam's fault. He wanted to go, he was refused. After Sam left, Moyes failed to properly rectfy that situation and his form was utterly woeful.

Sorry mate but that just reads as confirmation of the mess he leaves while exonerating him from any blame. I know loads of Sunderland and I'm sure you recall some were even calling for his head in February. It was only from March you looks remotely like staying up.

He'll do exceedingly little damage in 6 months

If he's on a longer term contract then fine, but I don't think he will be

He'll get paid a sickening amount to money for 6 months work and will go away

During that time we as supporters of our club need to SUPPORT it and help get the players over the line

Sam Allerdyce is a war time prime minister. This is a survival season, the usual rules have been changed for the short while we're in it

I don't like him, but I'm going to back my team

There is no need for it though. Go and get Vitoria or Fonseca.

Let's also not underestimate the damage that can be done in 1 window. The summer window. Is evidence of that!

I actually disagree

I think the arm chair fans will complain more, because they care more about "entertainment"

Match goers like us will just pull our socks up and get on with it, especially if he starts winning

I can't speak for others, but for me it's got bugger all to do with the style of football the man tends to play. For me, it's more to do with the fact that he's extremely dodgy and extremely mediocre. We're sacrificing our principles for someone who has won bugger all throughout his career and has a bizarre reputation as some kind of fixer despite being rubbish at every single club he's managed. Supporters then trot out "ah, but he was grand at Bolton wasn't he?". Erm, no, he really wasn't, and even if he was, he left Bolton 10 years ago ffs.

Interesting bunch of players we have at this club...second season Martinez...downed tools; second season Koeman...downed tools; first six matches Unsworth...downed tools...get rid of Jagielka, Williams, Keane, Schneiderlin, Mirallis...they are all cowards and should all be released from their contracts...problem with that is, we do that and we have no backline, but then we didn't really have one to begin with, no?

Sam is going to have some job on his hands...

The people running this club have bolloxed it up big time

This appointment will be an eternal monument to how insipid a job they've done

But, at the end of the day we need to be there for our club IMO

The fact we have to make this appointment is a symbol of how much we have fallen

If we want to avoid that final step to destruction, we as supporters have to give the team our very life force to scrape over the survival line

The best thing we can do to support this club currently is start a process to clear out the cancerous elements of our club. Sweeping things under the carpet has gone on for too long and has led us to this mess.

I wish I could be so optimistic Mikey. Firstly, I'd be amazed if he only came here for six months. If he keeps us up I'm almost certain he'll be offered the following season as well, but even if he wasn't, imagine the conversation we'd have going to a decent manager with them knowing full well that we were so desperate as a club, so mired in [Poor language removed] that we had to turn to a chancer like Allardyce to dig us out of it. Any manager worth their salt will laugh at the suggestion of following that.

People also fail to see that if the new manager comes in after Allardyce gets the boot in the summer.... does crap.... board panics... end up with another appointment like this

Give us the gravy lads. We choke down the failures of the club on it.

Maybe its the fans who sit back and accept crap that are the real problem,Kenwright clap, clap clap, hes the worlds greatest blue
Destination Kirkby,Ill vote yes its the best we can do
FS I'll back him its the best we can do,basically a pattern of accepting average,if you dont like it your not a sooper bloo

It's a panic move by a club that seem to have lost all grasp on good management. The fact that we sacked Koeman without a replacement lined up is mind-boggling enough, but to then replace him with a man with a much inferior record would stretch incredulity to its limits. The fact that the bloke has turned us down once already adds insult to injury. It's a shambles. An utter bloody shambles.

Honestly mate I'd rather reward the managers that have taken Sunderland down.

lollollollollol

Lets just be honest, the board have shown how cowardice they are... this is a terrible appointment and the fact its took so long, and to go back to him with our keks around our ankles just proves we haven't a clue.

I have been waiting 20 odd years for Blue Bill to walk away...still here keeping the champagne on ice for that day. I expect it will taste that much sweeter when we go and win a pot just after he has left with his lick-spittle cronies.
Mugabe stuck around a bit longer. Then his cronies danced in the streets once he'd gone. It's the cronies that need to grow some stonks and tell him to do one.
Nothing you or I can do will influence the outcome one iota.

Damn it I love you Everton. And I hate you in equal measure. OK, maybe I don't hate you but I want to hate you. Like a fit bird that you banged one night then she's off with your best mate the next night. Then some tosser the night after. Allardyce is that tosser.

That's exactly it mate. Everton have gone back, lips slightly open and ready to take what's coming, to the biggest crook in the game. A man who has ragged on scousers. A man who is big mates with our hideously crap Director of Football.

I hope Ferguson runs onto the pitch on Wednesday and powers a header past Pickford for the winner then him, @Donald Twain and Moyes run into the centre circle and do an irish jig
