Do you know what. He has played 128 minutes of Premier League football for us this season. 128 minutes! How the hell can we write him off after 128 minutes?? We need to forget the first few months of the season, wipe the slate clean and give him, Sandro, Siggy and a few others a fresh start. Onwards and upwards.

When/how is he getting time to develop on the pitch though? Can we afford to give him 5 games in the starting eleven just to carry on the way he has?

I would congratulate you on such inane bollox but you'd probably take it as a compliment.

The lad has a game in him that's been driven down by Koemans management and drivel around him. He was a leader at Ajax and swapped it to be lead by the likes of Williams. Wouldn't your game dip in that situation?

Calm your tits big man, and please provide examples of this 'game'

I'm really really struggling to think of more than a 15 minute spell in single game where he did anything more chase shadows and pass straight to the opposition even if the ball did by chance bounce straight at him

Really? I must've dreamt the quick passes he made and in involvement in 5 goals. He's been unfairly labelled as a failure when the truth is, he's played in a shockingly poor team and not one player stood out as anything but poor in those games.

He's kept it well hidden....

I wanted to believe that tbh, as he arrived with a good CV from a classy club, but I just haven't seen anything in him that says he's going to make it in this league.

This lad is the biggest enigma in our squad.

I'm my eyes he comes from a decent club in a poor league but obviously has something about him or he would never have been made captain at Ajax at just 24.

He has had a poor start with our club (who hasn't it seems this season) but has in patches shown some talent especially his one touch football which does seem decent and his vision for a pass isn't to bad even though his execution does let him done at the moment.

He does however look too slow and is in my opinion to weak physically for the premier league at the moment!

That's not to say he can't achieve a statues of good if not great player for us.

He does need a run of games to get up to speed so to speak but at this moment in time we can't really give him that luxury, which is way Unsworth isn't playing him in my view.

I'm really unsure if he will make it in this league which is a shame because deep down I do have a feeling he could come good....maybe....hopefully!

That's my 5 pence worth if any one cares.;)

I just dont see with this lad what i can see in the likes of Sandro and Sigurrdson, quality but just not caught fire yet.

I think he was really a poor signing.

Unfortunately that might end up being the case. However Im not quiet ready to give up on this lad just yet, especially if he cost us 24 million or something like that!

He came with a very good cv, ok it's a different league, but as pointed out he's been surrounded by inept performances and as Evertonians always do these days they've made him the fall guy. Like a lot of new players at our club they're supposed to fit seamlessly in, which can be done if the team itself has gelled already, but there hasn't been a team performance so far this season to give that period for adjustment, we've been under the cosh most games.
A lot wanted to boot Niasse out after 2 or 3 performances, now he's a saviour figure.
Time and opportunity and I believe he'll come good.
