Don't feel sorry for Unsworth. He came in to baby sit for a few games.I am sure he knew that despite what the press say.He will go back to the U23's and feel relieved.Relieved in the fact that he can get back to winning ways with the kids.Job too big for him and most that have been put forward.

No Dave I feel if Dyke comes in Unsy will either be no 2 or go back to the 23s
Whoever comes in will need local knowledge at no 2 imo the situation is dire!
Be nice if that happened, but I reckon Unsworth might try and go and prove himself elsewhere.

Can't imagine worse conditions for any manager to have his first serious crack at the job than the ones we've got going on now. Nevertheless, in the games against Leicester and again tonight there have been enough clues to suggest that this is a little too early for Unsy. I think he'll make a good manager but the timing is just all wrong.

Agree of you, it seems too early for Unsworth to become manager, especially his decision in both Leicester and Lyon is poor.

Agreed mate but I don't want you to film him looking all confused at the situation. Film him in a good moment that will direct him back to the u23's ;)
Emotional slow motion shots of Unsy back training the u23s, smiling and laughing with them while Allardyce watches intensely, kebab in one hand, diet coke in the other and 15 "sports scientists" furiously scribbling notes behind him to the music of Paradise by Coldplay lol

I'll smash his head off Brendan if I see him with a kebab and it puts me off them. If he takes over it's your job to blag that your DSLR camera needs plugging in and trip him up with a 40ft cable draped across the half line at FF. Unless you get the chance to grab a red cam which can weigh a bit and you can just lob it at his bonce.

At least we have a couple of options mate!

If it is Dyche - the No 2 is almost certain to be ex-Forest winger Ian Woan (assistant manager at Burnley). He and Dyche are joined at the hip.
