What a manager!

Koesworth.webp

The team has not changed...no goalscorer and on the whole well below average players, dont think its fair to judge him with this group of players, its just not his time yet, he may tey still prove to be a great prem manager
Its a fair point about not judging him with these players. His time might come again. But unfortunately this is the group of players we have. Somebody has to get them playing as a unit for 90 minutes. Otherwise its curtains to the Premiere League. Unsworth isn't that man with this group.

Worrying times mate, don't even want to say the words "we're too good to go down"

I think whoever comes in as manager, will have a massive job on their hands. The confidence and spirit of this squad is broken.Back in the Walter Smith days we had guy's like David Weir Alan Stubbs Unsy and Richard Gough etc.We have none of those sort of characters in the current squad.

Is right, they have chucked Rhino under the bus here. Don't by any means think he is the man for the job now but hope it does not leave a sour taste for the future.
Yes and no mate. Koeman had to go. I think most would agree. Unsworth, despite the 3 away games, had an opportunity to stake a claim. Thats all. He was never favourite for the job. But had he done well and got that new manager 'bounce effect', it might have put him in the frame. Obviously not now though.
Would like to think his job at U23 level isn't compromised. That would be harsh.

I keep saying it, but we need Mirallas or Vlasic in the middle. We need someone to carry the ball until Barkley gets back ffs. Gylf/Rooney/Klassen will not cut it. They are all way too easy to contain.

Can't be blaming Unsy for this. I feel for him being chucked into this mess and people hating coz he hasn't sorted it in two weeks.
This group are sh*te.. I don't know what he's supposed to do short of lumber onto the pitch himself. It's not like he can go down the shop and buy us a striker and a whole defence. Our squad recruitment tactics seem to have come from the 'names drawn randomly from a hat' school of thinking.
No, he's not the answer, but he's just doing his best at this terrible mess of a club we all find ourselves supporting.
