1. Club merchandise, for the kids and overseas market. Not the same as official club missives. Good try, not right though.
2. Before and after. So again, thanks for proving me right.
3. So I was right about Ferguson, and you've found one obscure reference to Giggs (who got, what, one match and was never in any danger of getting the job full time) rather than 'Unsy' who may very well be the permanent boss.

Good try though mate x
You're a funny little fellow.

So social media posts it's not ok... merchandise seen all over the world, absolutely fine. Hmmm...

Not sure how saying you're wrong proves you right, but hey ho. You're very Trumpian, aren't you...

"Obscure reference"... article on the official website. lol

Not to let facts get in the way of a good story, but Giggs got 4 games (but don't worry, you're only out by a margin of 300% of your statement) - which is the same as what Unsworth is getting - at least initially. Oops. There was also plenty of talk about Giggs getting the job permanently - for years they'd been talking about that being the succession plan from Ferguson.

Back on ignore you go, you condescending little WUM. :bye:

No there wasn't mate, that was his people, much like him putting out his Everton interest the other day. Oh look, nothing in it.

4 games at the end of a season. See, never a serious candidate. Again, good try but wrong again.

See you buddy x

Sentimentalism when we need professionalism. Simple solution; stop this tripe, appoint him full time, put him under the same focus as everyone else, and hold him to the mantra he quite correctly used in the press conference - we need a winning manager.

Why would we do that? He's an interim candidate, and we're in the unusual position of trying a manager out before we make a hasty decision. He mightn't be able to turn it around, but at least with Unsworth, we can move him back into his position with the U-23s with relatively little fuss and see who else we can get. I guarantee, the fans will turn on him just as quickly as any other manager if results go south fast, we're just not going to jump the gun based on a league cup defeat where he only had a few days to prepare

Nice to hear Unsy shouting encouragement all the time - 2nd half we started with our usual passing it across the back line tippy tappy stuff , and Unsy shouted "Faster move it up this is too slow" Our 2nd half performance worried Chelsea they fetched first teamers on after too close good efforts on goal - again our undoing was conceding from TWO corners - give him time - My hero big Joe was there observing I am sure things will get better!

From what I've seen heard and read over the years, I think Unsworth has what it takes
He's had 1 game previously Vs Norwich
He will probably get 4 games up to Nov
Depending on how the hunt for a replacement goes - If it goes at all, this is Everton here
He might get until Christmas.
Or the end of the season
We just don't know how long these things will take.

18 mths might be a fair crack of the whip...after that he takes his chances...unless it goes, I was going to say all Mike Walker-ish but I think Koeman has taken over that mantle now

I agree with those who say that appointing Unsworth would be a bit small time for everton- he may be fantastic in the future but if we see ourselves as a big club we need to bring in big proven managers. The whole idea of unsworth and a team full of everton under 23s is very romantic and clearly appealing to many here, but in reality will just make us a bang average /bottom half premier team.

the daft thing is that it would only take consecutive losses for those people to turn on unsworth and the young players. dont think either unsy or the kids need that.
