Threatening violence against another poster, oh right.
You're either with Unsworth or against him. But those against him are wrong and must be made to understand with merciless fire and fury

Yep sometimes it looked like 4-5-1 but only in the sense that Rooney was 600 miles away from the nearest man but it deffo looked lopsided as Mirallas was not holding any width whatsoever 1st half. Lennon tried to but Kenny was too deep to help make any inroads first half.
Jordan Pickford 6
Didn't have a save to make before picking the ball out of the net for Rudiger's goal and didn't have much to do after it until doing the same with Willian's strike. Has the goalkeeper had a more quiet game in Everton colours?
The verdict on a heartening Carabao Cup exit to Chelsea
Yes, if we pay him enough.
I am not sure footballers really care about that. They will want to work under good managers because they are generally managing top sides. I don't see a queue of players beating down the door to go and play for Benitez and Newcastle for example.
Regardless of what Chelsea put out, that was - apart from City away or Sours away - the worst match to start out with.Saw the post match interview with him mate, he stated the plan was to keep the game tight for an hour then McCarthy was a pre planned substitute on the hour designed to coincide with us opening the game up.
It almost worked a treat, and I like the fact he didn't try to do too much too soon like most would have, shows he's aware there's no instant fix.
I just don't get it at all mate.
He had to make one save of note against Stoke, that world-class dive across the goal at the death. He conceded two here.
It's so transparent, just give it to Unsworth, and give it him until at least the end of the season. Rather than this THE DOGS OF WAR ARE BAAAAAAACK LADS!!! rousing routine they are after, it utterly reeks of Kenwright.
This sort of drop in standards and taking solace in defeat is what sends decent sized clubs like Forest, Sunderland and others down

If we get 4 from 6 against Leicester and Watford he should be given more time.
Mate I honestly think you've had a mare this past 12 hours.I just don't get it at all mate.

Correct.Blimey, I’m agreeing with you, Dave!
There’s holes and softness all over that squad, but that second half was the best performance of the season so far. Rhino can clearly setup a team, play to strengths and motivate players. You have the u23s who look like they would run through walls for him. 10 more performances like that and the ship will be steady again.
Correct.
The danger, as I see it, is that we choose to look at this season now as something that we can still use in order to push for top 7, so a new boss becomes a tempting solution. That's not where we are. We are in a dogfight for survival and having a united organisation with people playing for each other to get out of this hole is the only game in town.
Only if Unsworth oversees a couple of poor performances in the next two games should we activate any plan to bring in an outsider. The situation is that delicate.
1 in 13?We won 1 in 13 last season and still qualified for Europe, so that's not true.

We need to hold that in reserve: a new manager from outside. We are in a survival fight right now, but we have enough room to move to a plan B after Unsworth if need be.My concern is that you get at every club a bounce when a failing manager leaves . Everybody inside and outside the squad puts more effort in , everybody is that bit happier there is a freshness . My worry would be whether the improved performances in those games would be because of unsworth’s arrival or Koeman’s departure.
