Bar Stoke at home and City away that's the first time the cats not been volleyed across the house this season. That for me is progress....not seismic change, but progress none the less.

It's amazing how quickly some people forget that we were held at home by a ten man Cypriot team and trounced by Arsenal just a few days ago.......but they just expect us to turn up at the home of the Champions and win ........ :confused:

You're missing the point. The champions weren't home, their weaker, slightly wierd little brother was holding the fort and he still managed to beat us.

Loved tonight.

The problem is that it often appears that dyed-in-the-wool-love-the-club-and-fans types can get something done short term as managers. But it only takes you so far, and then you need some tactical nouse and experience, plus the transfer market and the media when under pressure is a different world.

And then they get caught out.

And that's my worry.

Basically the vibe from our performance tonight like dumping a 23 stone bird for a 19 stoner. You're happy with the improvement but you're still not going to go showing her off to your mates. She's not where you want to be and no amount of make up is going to improve that.

WTF, we've had the worst start ever under a manager who wasn't arsed about us. Got rid of him, appointed a caretaker manager who's had 2 sessions of training max. We go down fighting to what some of you are saying is Chelseas b team and moaning about it. Did you moan when we got hammered by an average Italian side, drew at HOME to a gang of part timers from Cyprus, get real you miserable tits. No one is celebrating a loss just a vastly improved performance, a performance which would never have happened tonight if the arrogant Dutchman had still been here.
