I'm currently working my way through the Uncharted games from the beginning and loving every second...even the occasionally repetitive shooting bits in the early going. It more than makes up for that in the story and characters.

Early reviews of GT Sport confirm exactly what I feared.

No interesting single player mode. Why do they do this? I get online gaming us huge, but surely so is single player career type modes?

Irritated as it 'looks' decent.

its worrying that alot of games seem to be doing this, i suspect the one answer is ££££

the artistic merit element that other media such as books/films etc strive for seems to be being replaced by pure profit

Shadow of War is boss. Lots of new things to do and a lot going on to keep you engaged.

Just started South park fractured but whole too, pretty funny so far and I like the fighting mechanics.

Can't charge you any money on single player. Industry is going to the pits quickly.

Probably right mate.

It’s like GT Sport is being aimed at eGaming mings when I just want to win a fake championship when I feel like it.

Not wait around for people to turn up online when I want to race.

people keep paying for it and they will keep doing it, doesnt feel sustainable tho...hopefully someone will come up with another model

wouldnt be surprised if we end up with a spotify type service for games

Well The Last of Us 2 has never had an official release so it hasn't been put back. The 2019 date has also only come from a composer working on it so needs to be taken with a pinch of salt and 2020 could be possible too.

Lots of content, if you like RPG and south park. It's worth it.

You also get Stick of Truth free if you buy it before the end of the month or something too.

Reading today

Activision have a patent for a new type of matchmaking system in place. The idiot version of it is that it will matchmake you in with people who have bought microtransactions in a bid to influence you into buying them as well.

Basically if there was a gun that was better than any other in it's class that cost money to get, you would be matched with those players who had bought it to push you into buying it yourself.

They say it's not active at the minute but they have it ready to go in the future if they wish to go down that route

Terrible idea. Like, worst ever. Could backlash badly if they go ahead with it.
