I feel sorry for half these players brought in (Klaassen being one of them). They're either struggling to make sense of the game plan or just not good enough (the latter with Davy Klaassen).

Lol i apologise for calling you Koeman by mistake there.I think the problem is Koeman is trying to play as many of his favourites as possible in the team.Klassen Rooney and Sigurdsson should not all be in the starting 11 at once.Im beginning to think the problems with regards the Barkley situation is all coming from Koemans end as well. This is not a happy camp.Koeman is a dud.He thinks everyone is at fault but himself for our problems, but i think were stuck with him until his contract expires sadly.

Thanks Bryan. ;)
Re: Klassen, I think he’s suffering from a severe lack of support. At Ajax he had decent supporting passers in the final third. I don’t buy he’s really rubbish or poor as you’ve suggested. I don’t think he’s built for the PL sadly. He’s built like a goldfish.

No pace makes you very vulnerable in this league. We all knew that. Maybe he plays better further back and in front of the defence starting moves off? I know he did that for Ajax. Then again, the forwards we face in this league could make life very difficult for a player in that area of the pitch who cant move with the ball quickly when they need to.

All told: he's just not a PL player IMO.

Doesn't look like one so far, but lets give him a little more time. Oh and welcome back Dave.

Evening Dave, nice to see you back.

I feel sorry for Klaassen, the formation is I'm sure not what he was promised. We have a player on our hands if we just give him a chance.
Thanks mate. I just cant see it. I dont even think his heart is in it either. I felt sorry for him back at Ajax last week. To me he obviously looks like a player who wants back there again. Our's is a murderous unforgiving league. No place for a boy scout like Davy.

Even the most committed player would pine for home after that reception. This is where professional kicks in though, he can achieve his goals then go back to Ajax when he's 33.

It is early days. Possibly the position of the person who brought him in being under scrutiny is affecting his settling in period. Who knows. He has it all to do though. There's a will to see him do well by and large. I'm amazed that so many have stated he's not up to it - ex-pros too. They cant all be wrong...not usually anyway.

I reckon he'll be another Per Kroldrup.

Very good point re Koeman's personal pressure impacting on Davy.

I said earlier, a new manager would relish this squad.

I'd play him instead of Schneiderlin, starting the moves.
