This thread is for interesting stats on Everton players and the team so far.

My concern going into this season was we had nobody left who could dribble.

So far we are averaging 4.3 dribbles a game. A low for the league. For context the highest is 17.7 at Manchester United and the league average is around 10.

Another thing I worried about was Sigurdsson and Klaassen being given play making roles. I didn't feel either had anything to suggest they could perform that role, they simply don't get involved in the play. They need play makers and runners off them for their skills to be any use.

So far Klaassen and Sigurdsson are averaging a combined 36 touches per game.

For context Barkley was averaging 48 on his own last season.

Everton are cack, close thread

Edited, sorry lad, didn't mean to rain in your parade, just fuming after today.

I thought Koemans brother was into his stats, needs to get a new calculator I think.

Issue with attack can be summed up by saying that we don't have any players who can break lines through either of the two methods, passing or taking a player on. Pretty blatant recipe for not being able to score any goals.

At least one of Mirallas, Lennon, Vlasic or Lookman have to start every game now.

Unfortunately (as I don't really rate him) DCL needs to be starting games up front too.

Yes but they are all playing in each others space so they won't get the touches. Also as has been said runners and width needed....Oh there you go Rom bangs another in...

Is that all Barkley averaged 48 touches per game it looked to me he touched it 48 times before he finally lost it. Stats
prove next to nothing.

I was waiting for the Barkley is our saviour scenario. We've played four games lads, three of them against last seasons top four.

Oh right, that's why they had their pipe and slippers while chelsea and spurs turned us over, saving all their energy as they can't possibly be expected to win. I can't get my head around all the apathy, giving up before we start is not what I want to see from Everton football club.

Sorry wrong thread.
