Time for a rethink... and a role for Barkley ?

Yeah definitely mate, 62 games 16 goals, absolutely top slotter.

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz if Calvert-Lewin and Niasse are the solution and people hope for us to get into the top 6. Won't happen.
I'm talking about what options we have in the squad right now. He's a young lad. I didn't say he was prolific, but given chances he'll get goals. Him over Niasse all day long.

Oh and I don't expect top six this year lad!

So.

Who?

In your own time.

Honestly? I'd put Wayne up there before I put either of those two. Or Mirallas. Hell, I'd even persist with Sandro.

Niasse is diabolical. I've put it on here before (and I've even seen the Esk say it on twitter this week :coffee:) that Niasse is just not a top level footballer. I was at the same Palace game as Esk, and in the half time warm up the players were laughing at him. He scored a couple of goals for Hull but then was hysterically bad.

Calvert-Lewin has had about two halves of decent football this season. When he came on against Split at home he was a complete joke. Surely the criteria for being an Everton centre forward has to be more than 'prepared to run about a bit'??

I would love to see Barkley back in the team, but I fear Koeman is so stubborn/arrogant/single-minded/principled (choose your own description) that he will never pick Ross again.
